Promontory is a gated community of 77 single-family homes. It is a planned development community consisting of single-family homes. The Residential Owners Association is responsible for the budget, overseeing the maintenance of the common area, and maintaining the governing documents (including the CC&Rs, Bylaws, parking rules, etc.). In addition, the Association must approve all backyard landscaping, external structures, architectural changes, painting projects, etc.

The Association's business is carried out by a five-member Board of Directors elected by their fellow homeowners. The Promontory Board meetings are held at the Harbormaster’s Office (1340 Marina Way South) at 7pm, rotating from the third Monday to the third Tuesday every other month. All members of the Promontory Residential Owners Association are invited to attend meetings. The Open Forum is your opportunity to address the Board with any questions or concerns you might have. The latest information on upcoming board meetings and proposed agendas is posted normally 4 days before the meeting date on the meeting board near the entrance to the Promontory on Promontory Drive.
